Staff and Leadership

We have a passion for people, our city and our world. Our culture and leadership is characterized by worship, the love of God, and a genuine call to ministry. These core values have been shaped by our rich history of great co-workers and energy; always pressing forward in our call to love God and love others.

Questions are welcome and one may feel free to call our church office to speak with a staff member!

  • Senior Pastor - Mike Thevenin

Mike was saved at a Christian music concert in 1992 (ironically the name of the group performing was Harvest). He began serving the Lord and the local church immediately and, after twelve years, felt the Lord call him into full time ministry.

Mike joined the staff at Harvest-Concord in November 2004.   He served as Harvest’s Associate Pastor/Administrator.  Along with his wife Shelli, they served as Harvest’s Impakt Kids ministry directors for several years. In August 2013, he was installed as the new campus pastor at Harvest Harrisburg and one year later in August 2014 as the senior pastor.

Mike and his wife Shelli met in junior high in Huntington, WV.  They dated in high school, married and moved to Charlotte in 1987. Together they have two daughters, Ally and Holly.

Dreams for the future: Seeing Harvest Harrisburg Church become a beacon of light in our community.

  • Worship Director - Ryan Mcauley

Ryan grew up in a very musical family that traveled the East Coast singing Southern Gospel music. He started singing with them when he was only four years old. While he was attending a youth-led worship service when he was only thirteen years old, he felt called to be a worship leader.

Ryan started leading worship with the youth group at his church.  This led to leading worship during Sunday morning service. He led worship in various settings for more than ten years.  He took a sabbatical for a year to focus on God's next mission.  Ryan began supporting other worship leaders before feeling called to come to Harvest Harrisburg.

Ryan and his wife Corinne met in the spring of 2013 and married in November 2014. They love worshiping together both on and off stage. Ryan is the proud daddy of little Eden. She is a ray of sunshine and enjoys singing on stage with her family.

Ryan's vision: To see God's people set free in worship.

  • Youth Director - Corinne mcauley

Corinne and her husband Ryan have been a part of Harvest Harrisburg since June 2014. After serving in kids ministry and on the worship team for some time, Corinne felt God calling her to serve the youth of our church.

Corinne attended Bible College at FIRE School of Ministry and served as a missionary before becoming a middle school teacher in Kannapolis. Ryan and Corinne married in November 2014 and she is the proud "bonus mom" of Eden.

Her vision for the youth of Harvest Harrisburg is to see them equipped and empowered to preach the gospel and operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. She wants to see them firmly grounded in The Word of God so that they will not waiver as they grow to adulthood.
